There’s no escaping the challenges facing many sectors as a result of delays in receiving equipment, products and, of course, vehicles.

For fleet operators, it’ll be a real headache as they need to get their vehicles on the road, or in the case of pick-ups, off-road as soon as possible.

As soon as the vehicles touch down in the UK, they need to be turned around quickly to reduce any potential business downtime and loss of revenue so that they can be out on the road doing the jobs they were purchased to do.  And this is where Truckman comes in…

We’ve been working with fleet operators for decades and with all of our experience, plus some considerable investment means that we can be highly responsive when it comes to the fitting of commercial vehicle accessories that will enhance the capabilities of pick-up trucks and vans.

From our large headquarters in Dudley, West Midlands Truckman can provide a full turn-key service to fleet customers, providing bespoke specification hardtops to suit the individual business requirements of any fleet. From an off the shelf, standard hardtop, to offering a customised solution to suit a business requirement with beacons, tailor-made racking, lining, vents, lighting, and even the kitchen sink if you want it.

We have a state-of-the-art UK manufacturing facility, based in Dudley in the West Midlands, which manufactures our highly robust commercial hardtops, as well as a research and development department, and an extensive 139,000 sq ft warehousing capability, which enables us to offer a huge stock holding to cover customer demand.

This means that we can efficiently adapt our commercial hardtop range to suit the specific requirements of individual fleet customers. It also allows us to work with customers of all sizes, from SME businesses with one or two vehicles, up to multi-national firms with hundreds of vehicles.

Even this year, whilst the industry has been talking about delays to new vehicles arriving in the UK, we have still managed to deliver some large projects, including a job of 600 pick-up trucks for a single fleet, and the order book is already looking strong for next year and even 2023.

As soon as we are given notification that a set of the pick-ups are on their way, we react quickly to apply the flexibility we have built within our business (thanks to our strict ISO9001:2015 certification) to make things happen quickly, efficiently, and to the customer’s requirements.

Being able to offer customers confidence that they can have their orders completed swiftly, competitively, and to the highest quality, gives us immense satisfaction at Truckman. 

It’s on par with seeing a pick-up truck kitted out with a Truckman hardtop or tonneau cover, pulling away from our HQ every day!
