Job Title:                    Field Sales Engineer – Value added Services

Report to:                   Business Unit Manager

Working With:           Marketing, Suppliers

What sort of person are we looking for?

They will need to be a target driven sales person with a proven track record in exceeding targets. The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, being able to build relationships quickly. A background in vehicle conversions is essential. The successful candidate will most likely already be an experienced field sales person, preferably with CAD system experience.

This person will be responsible for the UK and must like being on the road and not afraid to work long hours and flourish in a rapidly changing environment. The role will include visiting and prospecting dealers, fleet customers, utilities, vehicle leasing companies and end users.

Auto Styling Truckman is fast moving and has very ambitious growth plans for the coming years. For the right candidate it can offer very good prospects and in return has very high expectations of its staff.

On the job training, will be provided in both systems and products.

Major Task:

To increase the business unit sales and long-term prospects by visiting and prospecting the existing and potential customers

  • To inform customers, and potential customers, about new products and opportunities.
  • Identify and generate sales leads
  • To monitor sales to individual customers and take according action.
  • To Generate designs, solutions and quotes using where required the CAD system.
  • To collect market intelligence and report it back to the management in the form
  • Meet and exceed budgeted targets
  • Work with marketing to exploit opportunities
  • Take an active role in resolving customers queries and complaints in line with company policy. At all times maintaining the company’s ethos on customer satisfaction, without allowing the customers to take undue advantage

  • How will it work?
  • Implement and maintain a planned meeting schedule
  • Tele sales lead generation
  • Individual meeting reports to be created and the company’s ERP system (Maginus) to be updated after every meeting.
  • Process customers enquiries and orders in accordance with the company’s business systems
