The West Midlands-based manufacturer and distributor of 4x4 accessories, including hardtops for pick-up trucks, is reaping the rewards of its investment in production and warehousing facilities to enable the business to meet the demands of the new registration release date.
The installation of mezzanine floors within Truckman HQ has taken the capacity to 125,000 sq. ft., which ensured Truckman was able to ramp up its stockholding of a comprehensive range of commercial and leisure hardtops and accessories for the latest pick-up truck models from Fiat, Ford, Isuzu and Mitsubishi, to Nissan, Toyota and Volkswagen.
Orders for accessories are increasing in line with the new registration vehicles, along with bookings for Truckman’s on-site fitting service.
Mike Wheeler, Executive Chairman of Truckman, said: “Our team are always primed for the new registration month and the investments we have put in place are ensuring we can meet the demand from our retail and commercial customers. The flexibility and security that many of our accessories offer, makes them a valuable addition to vehicles, particularly pick-up trucks and 4x4’s, which are used to access all manner of terrains and locations and need to keep their loads safe and secure.”
