High-Grade Construction
ARB's Simpson III roof tent and annexe combo features high-grade anodised aluminium frames, reinforcement poles, and stakes. A retractable anodised aluminium ladder provides easy tent access and can support up to 120kg. The tent itself combines a durable polyester flysheet with a poly/cotton canvas lining for maximum protection.
Simple Setup
Unfolding in minutes, the Simpson 3 rooftop tent deploys by sliding out and pulling on the ladder which then gives access to comfortable and spacious aboveground sleeping quarters. At the end of your trip, the tent can be quickly compacted down thanks to the incorporated bungee cord system.
High-Density 63.5mm Bonded Chip Foam Mattress
Designed to give a home away from home feel whilst still being close to nature, the 63.5mm bonded chip foam mattress helps to spread your body weight evenly across the surface for optimum comfort and includes a removable cover.
All-Weather Zip-On Annexe
The Simpson 3 rooftop tent includes a zip on side annexe and provides a convenient space for an additional sleeping area, kitchen set-up, toilet and shower area or changing room.

The origins of ARB go back to 1975, when company founder, Tony Brown, was inspired by a 4WDing trip through the top end of Australia.
Back then, 4WDers relied on homemade or ill-fitting equipment that was not designed for extensive Outback expeditions. Endless corrugated roads, extreme temperatures, and the heavy loads carried by Australian travellers were tremendously punishing on vehicles that regularly tackled these kinds of conditions. Tony’s many years spent toiling on his Series 1 Land Rover proved extremely beneficial to others in the top end during his travels.
Damaged bull bars and broken roof racks ensured Tony’s expertise was regularly called upon, and through this experience an idea was born – well engineered, durable equipment that would meet the vigorous demands of 4WD owners. Upon his return to Melbourne, Tony put theory into practise, and began working in the family garage to address some of the product deficiencies he’d encountered on his trip. It was exactly what Australian 4WDers had been waiting for, and ARB, the initials of Anthony Ronald Brown, was founded. Today, ARB is Australia’s largest manufacturer and distributor of 4×4 accessories.
