The ARB Simpson III rooftop tent delivers the ultimate in ease and convenience when traveling. Unfolding in minpick-ups, a rooftop tent provides sleeping quarters off the ground, protected from the elements. All bedding can remain inside the tent during the journey, freeing up vital storage space in the vehicle, and allowing the tent to be quickly and easily packed away.
Also aiding the fast pack down and setup, a unique bungee cord system keeps walls tucked in to assist in speeding up the pack down to get you back on the road faster.
High-Grade Construction
ARB’s Simpson III roof tent and annexe combo features anodised aluminium frames, reinforcement poles, and stakes. The retractable ladder supports up to 120kg for easy access. The tent combines a durable polyester flysheet with a poly/cotton canvas lining for optimal protection.
Simple Setup
Unfolding in minutes, the Simpson 3 rooftop tent deploys by sliding out and pulling on the ladder which then gives access to comfortable and spacious aboveground sleeping quarters. At the end of your trip, the tent can be quickly compacted down thanks to the incorporated bungee cord system.
High-Density Mattress
Designed to give a home-away-from-home feel while staying close to nature, the 63.5mm bonded chip foam mattress spreads your body weight evenly for optimum comfort and includes a removable cover. It also offers excellent insulation, ensuring warmth in all conditions.

The approximate length is 210cm and it'll sit up from the roof to an approximate height of 50cm.
Does the tent have a hard shell?
It's only the ARB Esperance tent which has the hard shell. An annex can be added to this too.
What is the internal weight limit of the tent?
The weight factor comes into play when fitted onto a canopy/rack/roof bars etc. It depends on what system are you looking to add the tent to.
What is the grade of canvas used for this tent?
This tent uses a high quality, waterproof, poly/cotton rip stop canvas as standard.
What is the hydrostatic head of the Simpson III?
The Simpson has 300GSM PU impregnated canva and incorprates oxford polyester flysheet with excellent water shedding ability - 1000mm/3ft water head.
