High-Quality Footage
By applying the Sony Starvis sensor to the front camera of the IROAD FX2 PRO, the image quality has been greatly improved, especially during night recording. The sensor delivers sharper, more vivid colors in FHD images, ensuring excellent image quality even in low light conditions. It’s worth noting that the front and rear cameras record in FHD, providing sharp and detailed footage from both angles.
60FPS RECORDING
Recording video at 60 frames per second ensures exceptionally smooth videos, preserving intricate details with remarkable clarity, especially in high-speed scenarios. By doubling the frame rate compared to the basic 30fps, motion blur is substantially minimized, enhancing the camera’s ability to capture crucial information, such as license plates, even in fast-moving situations.

Buffered Impact & Motion Detection
FX1 PRO will automatically start an Event recording when motion or impact is detected during parking mode, as well as when impact is detected while driving. Thanks to the BUFFERED recording technology, the Event video will include 10s before and 20s after the event occured. Event files are saved separately and can be viewed through both the PC Viewer and the corresponding IROAD Mobile App.
Energy Saving Sleep Mode
IROAD’s new Sleep Mode (Energy Saving) greatly reduces power consumption and provides a longer video recording of the parked vehicle than the original parking mode. Once the vehicle is parked, the dash cam goes into “sleep” mode.
When an impact is detected, the dash cam wakes up, records a 30 second video which it saves to the SD card, then goes back to “sleep”.
Sony STARVIS Image Sensor
IROAD FX2 PRO is equipped with a premium Sony STARVIS Image Sensor which guarantees ultimate video sharpness and high nighttime footage quality.
This image sensor is able to provide recordings much brighter and cleaner compared to seeing with bare eyes, even in low light conditions.
Real HDR
Real HDR technology is integrated to eliminate light blurring while driving at night, producing clear and vivid recordings even in challenging lighting conditions such as backlighting and tunnels. This advanced feature allows the IROAD FX1 PRO to accurately capture the entire dynamic range of a scene, resulting in improved clarity and contrast across the entire video. This makes it an excellent choice for drivers who need reliable and high-quality footage, regardless of the lighting conditions.
Hyper Lapse
No more worries about missing out while driving long distances
By compressing the recorded video, Hyper Lapse minimises the memory space and saves 4 times more footage. However, when an event or impact occurs, recording frame rate switches automatically to 30 fps to provide clearer images of important moments.
Time Lapse
Experience continuous Parking Mode recording for a long time with IROAD Time Lapse. Time Lapse is a low-capacity recording method that minimizes the storage space by compressing and saving at 1fps while in Parking Mode. However, when an impact or motion is detected during parking, FX1 PRO automatically switches to recording at 30fps to provide clearer images of the important moments.
Speed Camera Alerts
Speeding tickets and accidents can now be prevented with the help of the Speed Camera Alert function.
With an active GPS connection and the latest Cyclops database installed, the dash cam will use voice alerts to inform the driver of any incoming speed cameras and red-light cameras, increasing the overall safety of all traffic participants including vehicles and pedestrians.
