I’m looking to buy a wheel arch kit as I’ve just put 20" wheels on my Ranger. They now stick out about 3 inches out of the arches, would this be the right kit to go for?

The wheel arch kit will give you a 55mm extension, so may solve the issue. You'll need to check with whoever supplied the wheels first though, as they may prefer you to fit spacers instead.
