Is there any chance at all that this would fit a Mk7? Maybe with a bit of modification?

This is designed to utilise the existing fitting points on a Mk8 Hilux. You may be able to make it fit a Mk7 by modifying the tailgate/drilling extra holes etc. but this isn't something we can recommend unfortunately.
