Is this the part used for opening and locking the Mountain Top Roller Shutter when the tailgate is down?

This locking pin set sits inside the end profile of the Mountain Top roller shutter, and it's this kit that releases the roller shutter when the lock is pressed down.
It doesn't interact with the vehicle tailgate at all.
