EGR RollTrac : The Tonneau That Has It All

EGR’s RollTrac Electric Roller Shutter provides a stylish-looking cover that is still extremely tough and durable due to the all-aluminium construction. This means you can benefit from a best-in-class security tonneau cover that continuously protects your cargo and is engineered to rigorous global standards. Integrating with your vehicle’s existing remote central locking, EGR’s RollTrac doesn’t require you to have an extra key fob making it easy to access your cargo whenever you need to. 

Smart Technology

EGR’s on-board ECU (Electronic Control Unit) seamlessly connects the RollTrac to the vehicle’s electrical and remote central locking systems. Equipped with intelligent programming and a power management system, the RollTrac offers smooth, safe and variable-speed operation of the roll cover and it will detect any drops in vehicle voltage, meaning you never have to worry about your battery going flat due to the use of the roller shutter. 

On-board controls can be found on either side of the RollTrac, meaning you can stop the roller shutter in any position, meaning you can still carry those awkward cargo loads. Also fitted with an LED interior light automatically lights up your truck bed so those dark conditions won’t stop you from being able to see when loading and unloading your cargo. 

Worried about what happens if your battery does die? Don’t worry, the roller shutter comes with a back-up manual key so you can still unlock and operate the roll cover and with anti-pinch technology, you won’t have any mishaps that lead to injury or accidental damage to your cargo.

Tough

Tested to the extremes, the RollTrac really can handle anything you throw it’s way, all external components are crafted from impact-resistant aluminium that won’t rust or corrode to make them weak. The EGR RollTrac is finished in a premium, lightly textured, satin black, powder coat meaning it won’t fade over time due to the sun. 

The low maintenance design allows the cover to slide smoothly every time you open and close it and keeps the overall maintenance to a minimum. 

Secure

Seamlessly integrating with your vehicle’s central locking system, the EGR RollTrac includes tailgate locking as standard. The unique claw hook design means that when the Roller Shutter is closed, any pulling force of up to 200kg will be unsuccessful in gaining access to your cargo and with no visible external fasteners the EGR can’t even be disassembled to gain access to the truck bed.

Weather Resistant

The EGR RollTrac has been tested in every extreme environment (dry dusty desert, wet tropical rainfall, salt spraying beach driving and extreme cold and snow) and the large aperture drainage tubes fitted to each corner allows collected water to drain without collecting in the truck bed. 

The distinct curved design of the canister assists in dispersing water quickly out of the front drainage tubes, passing it out and under the vehicle along with interlocking aluminium slats prevent any water penetration between each slat on the surface.
