Truckman expands its racking & conversions division with the appointment of Field Sales Executive

The Truckman Conversion service covers a range of racking accessories, including ply lining, inverters, bespoke decals, electrical charging systems decals, plus many more.

The division, which was launched last autumn, has already established itself with SME trade customers operating small vehicle fleets. It has also secured its first OEM endorsements from Volkswagen UK and Toyota GB for the supply and installation of ALUCA racking systems.

Michelle has a wealth of experience in the sector, having joined Truckman after spending ten years with van racking company QI Van Systems. She spent six years in sales, previously involved in new business development, sales implementation and bid management.

The division was established after Truckman secured an agreement with German racking manufacturer ALUCA to become exclusive UK partner for the supply and installation of its products.

ALUCA racking is available for a wide variety of vans and pick-ups and is beneficial for many industries, being 20% lighter than most of its competitors, offering fuel saving and increased payload. It is also 100% recyclable, crash-tested and comes with an eight-year warranty.

Truckman provides a comprehensive bespoke conversion service to fit vans and pick-ups with the racking systems at its West Midlands fitting centre in Dudley – which includes ply-lining, inverters, bespoke decals, electrical charging and a range of other accessories.
